Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 1, 2025

Your privacy is important to us. ITzpire API is designed to require as little personal information as possible while still providing a high-quality API service.

1Information We Collect

We collect minimal data to provide and improve our service. This includes: IP addresses (for rate limiting, logged transiently), request metadata (endpoint path, timestamp, response status), and aggregate usage statistics (total requests, unique visitors).

2How We Use Information

Collected data is used to: enforce fair use rate limits (50 requests/minute per IP), generate anonymous platform statistics displayed on our dashboard, maintain server health and debug issues, and improve the reliability of our API services.

3Data We Never Collect

We do not require registration, so we never collect: names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any personally identifiable information (PII). No cookies are used for tracking purposes.

4Third-Party Services

Our platform may integrate with third-party APIs to fulfill requests. These third parties have their own privacy policies. We do not share your IP or request data with third parties beyond what is technically required to serve the response.

5Data Retention

IP-level rate limiting data is stored in Redis with a rolling 1-minute window and is not persisted. Aggregate statistics (request/visitor counts) are stored in MongoDB but contain no identifying information.

6Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
